In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Project
S.A.F.E. and Awakenings Art present We Keep Us S.A.F.E.
This exhibition centers the voices, resilience, and creative
power of CCC student survivors and student allies in
active solidarity. The works gathered here are acts of
truth-telling and resistance. They refuse silence,
challenge stigma, and name the realities of sexual
violence that too often go unseen.
Each piece, like the flowers in this bouquet, holds
space for the complexity of survival: grief, anger,
remembrance, resilience, freedom, protection,
courage, healing, and reclamation. Together, they
create a narrative that honors individual journeys
while calling our community toward
accountability, care, and meaningful prevention.
This exhibition is an invitation to witness with
intention, to listen without judgment, and to
recognize that supporting survivors is an
ongoing, collective responsibility
Exhibition Opens April 2, 2026
